Going under the knife

Having suffered with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for the past ten years, I am about to undergo surgery to correct the problem. The procedures should be straightforward, with an operation on each hand in turn, leaving a fortnight between. During recovery though, I will be quite limited in what work I'm able to do, so I have arranged for the surgery to take place around the Christmas holiday period.

The first operation is on December 22nd, all being well I will have reached some level of normality by mid January 2011. I will not have full strngth in my hands for some time though, so there is likely to be some disruption to work until March 2011.
