Good work fella!

I've just received the first production batch of oil filter adaptors, part number 471C, to fit Heralds and other Standard-Triumphs with the 948 and 803cc engine. There's more detail in my earlier post, but to summarise, these will allow the smaller engines to use the readily available GFE150 filter, in place of the rare and expensive Crosland 471 or AC SA filters.

I'm delighted with these, the production part has a nice radiused edge where the prototype had a square cross-section.

All customers who've pre-ordered will get theirs sent out this week, with stock available for regular mail order and show sales.

As you'll gather, I'm very pleased with the work done by this machine shop. There will be more to come from the same source through 2008.

Hi these sound very interesting.I am always looking for parts of some kind,do you ship o/seas at all? Also could you tell me who manufactures these as I am trying to find an adaptor for the Wipac fiter on a 1951 Rover P4 75?

About 50% of our business goes overseas, at least that's the case when the strength of the pound allows!
I'm not familiar with the filter arrangement on any of the Rover P4 family. What filter does it use? Any kind of adaptor can be made, but we usually need a market for at least 25 units before making a new design. Modifications to an existing design might be viable in smaller quantities though.

Hello Bill

Can you tell me where we can buy the filter adaptor in the Netherlands, or can you purchase this directly from you??
Do you have a price for 50 (or if interesting 100 pieces) and delivery time.
Can you tell me the tread in the filterscrew (is this 7/16" UNF to 3/4" UNF?

Greeting Gert van Nieuwenhuizen
